9/27 New Moon & Uranus-0-Pluto

New Moon
The Sept. 27 Libra New Moon is another flashpoint for breakdown(Pluto) and breakthroughs(Uranus) mirrored by the ubiquitous Uranus-Pluto square. Our relationships/partnerships are now subject to the same cosmic imperative for revolution(Uranus) and evolution(Pluto) as the rest of the world is.

Since this New Moon rises at Washington, DC, it's potent energy is sharply focused here in the US. And we're likely to see extreme events similar to those of early August when Mars entered Cancer and set-off the Uranus-Pluto world transit. In this case, the Libra emphasis suggests profound change in the area of relationships, values, and money. Whatever is unsustainable as is will be under tremendous stress.

When we look at this New Moon against the backdrop of the 1965 seed conjunction that set the current Uranus-Pluto cycle in motion, we see more activation of the radically powerful ideas/energies unfolding. The waxing Uranus-Pluto square marks the crisis of action phase of this 128 year synodic cycle*. And the transiting Uranus/Pluto(midpoint at 18.43 Aquarius) is now hitting the 1965 seed conjunction chart Ascendant(18.53 Aquarius at US capital). So the Libra New Moon triggers the epic Uranus-90-Pluto, as this square activates it's 1965 birth chart Ascendant(Washington, DC). Therefore, the lunation of Sept. 27 may be a celestial flash-point for the United States in particular.

One does not need to be an astrologer to sense the transformative sea-change building like a global tsunami, and the first of seven exact Uranus-Pluto squares does not even occur until June 24, 2012.
